The autumn season brings with it gorgeous bursts of colour from the falling leaves, but the coldness often means we want to stay in more.
However, there are loads of things going on in the town to tempt us out of our cosy homes. The Curve has been full of activity since opening in September and there is a good regular activity programme now. There will also be a Sleeping Beauty pantomime at The Curve from 20 - 28 December.
Join in with Christmas carols in Herschel Park, pop into one of Slough's libraries for a host of activities or if you're feeling more active, Salt Hill Park now has its own parkour park and updated skate park.
There are great investments being made in the town, with £140m for new council housing, a school improvements boost of £20m and plans for a development by the canal.
Slough's youth have been busy, with the Make Your Mark vote, a debate in parliament and the first ever Youth Awards.
In this edition you can also pick up tips on what you can recycle this Christmas, see how easy and important it is to register to vote and have your say on Slough's future.
