Welcome to the December edition

Inside this edition are items on local events to commemorate the centenary of the end of WW1 in November 1919, a look at the borough council’s own 80th anniversary dinner, details of our campaign for better oral health and details of events in the run up to Christmas.

The half marathon returned to Slough for the first time in 18 years in October – pictures of the day, as well as features on our green gyms, health and wellbeing campaigns and our youth award winners are also covered.

You can also find out about the Community Governance Review into Slough’s Parish Councils, read about our consultation on licensing Houses of Multiple Occupation and find out what’s going on in our local libraries and at The Curve.

I hope you enjoy the read! **

James Swindlehurst, leader of Slough Borough Council
