Family fun with HOME Slough

Photo of HOME Slough activityIt’s been an exciting time for HOME Slough this year and there is lots more planned this summer.

One exciting interactive show for all the family is ‘Arbor’ by Smoking Apples Theatre, which can be seen at Slough Horticultural Show in Lascelles Park, on Saturday 17 August, from 11am – 5pm.

Arbor is 18 feet tall and is part man, part tree. Arbor tells the story of a tree pushed from his home and his fight to preserve his future. Encouraging the audience to plant and nurture their own trees, Arbor will give each person a sapling to take home, leaving a legacy that will last for generations.

HOME Slough is based at Unit 43-45 High Street, Slough. Residents can get involved with regular Friends of HOME Slough activities, among them, augmented reality sessions with Immersive Computing Labs, keyboards, guitar and drums sessions with SWIPE and the Slough Community Children and Adults Choir.
