Year two of the Breaking Boundaries cricket project has begun.
Fifty young people attended the first leadership event at The Curve, which saw young leaders from nine different community groups come together and learn about community cohesion and event planning. They were joined by Berkshire Cricket Foundation, Youth Sport Trust, Sporting Equals and the local press.
These young leaders and their community groups are now planning nine different events for the summer period, which will be designed to integrate and engage residents within their local community.
Organisations including Paving the Way, Aik Saath and Slough Integration Services will be coming together and supporting each other.
Keep an eye out for these events because some are gearing up to be quite the occasion.
The project is set to run for another two years.
